  2. Alright, smarties. Actually, I don't dislike it, it's just that this entire edition has been a bit more (ahem) experimental than I intended. If this hadn't also happened twice before in the same print run I would have been a little more amused by it.

    Ah, well. Stuart... How do you handle marking a REALLY varied edition?

    I chicken out and don't do square linocuts. That way I only have to choose between two ways of laying down the paper. Its registration I have problems with. I tend to lose concentration especially towards the end of an edition, and start getting a bit sloppy over placing the paper into the registration marks.

  4. As an artist, I feel your frustration when something doesn't go the way you intend. But, I have to agree with Susan T, it is a very interesting image. I like it, too!

    Ok, now I'll go back to my studio and grit my teeth as I twist and turn all those copper leaves hoping my mistakes turn out as interesting.
