But it's not the yard tree. A friend who was along on that Great Ponderosa Pine Hunt Day saw this one in a recent snow storm, knew what I was after, and snapped a pic for me. I think it's the first time I've worked from someone else's photo, so it seems a little odd... but the tree shape fit my search parameters to a T!<BR/><BR/>And Snail! Yes..... I find the process of carving the plate actually more satisfying than the finished print most of the time.
